The silly season has officially begun which means countless Christmas parties and family gatherings. However, being a festive party host can be stressful especially when it comes to planning the food. So we’ve concocted a few mouth-watering Kale & Quinoa Burger canapés you can wow your guests with! The beauty lies in their simplicity as they are unbelievably quick to make whilst bursting with flavour. Take a look below at the three recipes and show off your culinary prowess this festive season.
- 2/3 Kale & Quinoa Burgers
For the Tomato, Basil, Mozzarella, and Balsamic Canapé:
- 2 large tomatoes sliced
- Handful of basil leaves
- 1 ball of mozzarella sliced
- Balsamic dressing
For the Sundried Tomato and Goats Cheese Canapé:
- 4 large sundried tomatoes
- 4 slices of goats cheese
For the Feta Cheese, Pistachio Nuts, and Pomegranate Seed Canapé:
- 1/2 a block of feta, chopped
- Handful of crushed pistachio’s
- Handful of pomegranate seeds
Pop 2/3 of our Strong Roots Kale & Quinoa burgers into the oven for 12-15mins at 200˚C. Once cooked, take each burger out, cut into four segments and begin making the canapés.
1. Tomato, Basil, Mozzarella, and Balsamic Canapé
First, place the sliced tomato onto the four burger segments, then add the basil leaves, mozzarella slice and a dash of balsamic dressing
2. Sundried Tomato and Goats Cheese Canapé
Place a sundried tomato onto each of the segments, then add the goat’s cheese. Place under the grill until the cheese melts.
3. Feta Cheese, Pistachio Nuts, and Pomegranate Seed Canapé
Place chunks of feta onto the segment, then add the crushed pistachios and pomegranate seeds.
